My Brothers Birthday!

Yesterday was my Brothers Birthday.....

 .....So i made him a cake!

 It was victoria sponge with whipped cream and raspberry jam, with a sprinkling of icing sugar and a blue glitter star!

 The cake was REALLY delicious, and very filling.

 Yummy! Yummy! Yummy!Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Yummy!

Chain of cranes.

This week I made a Chain of cranes out of origami. I made each crane one by one and then sewed them together.

Dessert time!

This week i decided to make a dessert.

 It was mini meringues mixed in with whipped cream.
The bottom layer was some redcurrants,blackcurrants, and blackberries.
With a grating of chocolate and a little berry on the top.

 The best bit about this dessert was.......EATING IT!

Daddys birthday!!!!!!

On Sunday it was my Daddy's birthday. So i made a chocolate cake.....(and chocolate muffins!)

 I made a bit of a mess but....it was all worth it.

 I used self-raising flour and cream of tartar and the cakes really did rise!

 I  melted chocolate and cream to make a ganache which i put in the middle of the cake and on the top , i also chopped some strawberries and covered them in sugar then i added them to the middle of the cake.
All the chocolate and strawberries......oozing out of the side....mmmmmm.

 I decorated the top a bit.

 I also made some chocolate muffins to go with the cake.

Homeade Bread!

This week i made some bread.

It was REALLY tasty,in fact i am eating it now! And the good thing is that it only has 5 ingredients! Flour,water,yeast,salt and a tiny bit of sugar, compared to shop bought bread which has 21 ingredients!

Mummy's Birthday Cake!!

Yesterday was my Mummy's birthday!!. So i decided to make her a chocolate cake.

 I melted some chocolate to put in the middle of the cake and on the top.

I made the WHOLE cake by MYSELF!!!! ( it was also a very yummy cake) :)

EASTER TIME!!!!!!!!

This week i made some things for Easter........

 First i made a Bunny and a Chick, made out of tissue paper and paper plates etc...

 Cute!!!!!!!! :)

 Then i made this Easter cake! a chocolate cake with a chocolate filling AND chocolate on top aswell as mini eggs and crumbled flake!!!!!

 I added some edible glitter and some yellow chicks just for that extra touch!! :)

Easter Bakes.....Yum!!

This week i made some yummy cakes.....
First i made this oaty biscuit type of thing, it has nuts on the top and jam in the middle.It was very Yummy! :)
(it was all gone within 2 days!!!!) :)

 Yesterday i made some Easter cakes,its not Easter yet but i thought why not practice!! :)

 They have mini eggs on top and crumbled flake stuck on with melted chocolate and a sprinkling of edible gold glitter just for that extra touch!!! :) (AKA fairy dust :)).

 I also put some in a box for presentation. :)

Muffins!

I made some muffins today,they are blackberry and milk chocolate chips,they are really nice!( i have already had three:).

But they were soo yummy and tasty that half of them have already gone!I reckon that by tomorrow evening they will ALL be gone.  :) 

Science project.

 Today i did a science project from a kit i got for Christmas,the were

                                 lots more projects to do but i decided to do this one,it was called Dirty money.

 The project was all about testing how dirty money really is by putting it in

                                vinegar and salt......

  After two hours the coin had turned a pinkish colour,wich proved
                                 it was very dirty!! Yuk

  This project was fun but i dont really want to touch money anymore.............

Cake for mothers day.

This is a cake i made for my Mum for Mothers day.It is a victoria sponge cake with jam and cream inside and  icing powder in the shape of a heart aswell as little cream flowers.I cant wait to eat it tonight after dinner! xx
