My birthday present Part.2

 This is the second part of my birthday present,......A MUSHROOM CAKE CLASS!!!!!!!!

 I carved all of the actual cake into the mushroom shape and then covered it in sugarpaste...

 And then made the stone path and the door and then piped the grass on.

 And then some windows , small mushrooms ,  bunting , a ladybird and some rocks.

 It was sooooo fun and the day after i made it a had a tea party......and ate it! :) :) :) :) :)

MY BIRTHDAY PRESENT!!

For my Birthday , I went to an amazing cake class in London.
I learnt loads of new skills and techniques, such as icing , piping ,baking,fondant,flower paste and different types of cutters for icing.IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!

It was a course of two days, and the first day we did ....yummy BUTTER CREAM!!

I loved the grass piping nozzle.

And the second day we did covering cakes in fondant and decorating with little flowerpaste decorations.

And i did this big rose.

Birds

This week i bought a really nice artist quality pen, and for Christmas a little book of bird sketch type things , and it inspired me to sit down and draw Birds! I had some very nice watercolour paints as well, and painting/drawing  is so lovely to do when you have quality paints/pens/card.  I LOVE PAINTING!!
